Google Chrome Web Store
O Google lançou hoje em seu evento anual para desenvolvedores, o “Google I/O“, uma novidade chamada Chrome Web Store. Trata-se de uma loja para aplicações web, que disponibilizará aplicações para o navegador Chrome.
Segundo a Google, isso ajudará os desenvolvedores a alcançar uma maior audiência na hora de desenvolver e distribuir seus aplicativos para o Chrome. O Web Store será um “mercado aberto” para aplicações web.
Os usuários do navegador Chrome passarão a ter um “atalho mais conveniente” e de fácil acesso para buscar e instalar novas aplicações e extensões para este browser. Os desenvolvedores de extensões/aplicações também terão a opção de “vender” facilmente seu aplicativos através da Web Store, usando um conveniente e seguro sistema de pagamentos (provavelmente o Google Checkout).
A empresa ainda não divulgou a data de lançamento do Chrome Web Store, mas promete a nova ferramenta de distribuição ainda este ano. Uma documentação preliminar com uma prévia da loja já está disponível e se você quiser mais informações sobre o Chrome Web Store pode visitar a página oficial.
